a stiff neck, and small checks,
five years passed and there ain't that much difference yet.

bait lost in the quiet light,
tomorrow'll be a little brighter.
gold wash as the dusk ignites,
fanning the flames a little higher,
burnin' up your spire
doe skirting fields and streams
fawns just following
it all seems so sweet, when you look underneath
there's frantic hearts beatin'
fear cutting your appetite,
could you ease with the load a little lighter,
oh, are those days when it's all alright
just kindling to the fire
lickin' up your spire?
passerine and white foot find
shelter in the tender forest quiet
variance, a pretty life
in this tiny corner of your wild
buildin' up your spire
